Two new shows posted on the gigs page. We're going to be playing a New Years Festival that should be a lot of fun. Lots of bands and a great party all weekend. We do have tickets for sale so please contact either Gideon or Dave to get a hold of yours. With purchase of a ticket you also will receive our new demo cd featuring our new vocalist.

The Tarpon Trees lineup has changed slightly, as Jon Adams (guitar) has left the band. Tarpon Trees is currently seaking a lead vocalist/lyracist, male or female. If you are interested contact Gideon at gberkowitz2002@yahoo.com for audition info. Serious musicians only!

After a long hiatus, Tarpon Trees is back! Look for two gigs in the next month--first the traditional Poor Man's Mardi Gras celebration, then expect a Hustler gig on the 27th! Also, check out the new lineup with Mark replacing Scotty on bass.

Yes, it is finally that time! The long-awaited CD release party for Tarpon Trees' first CD, It Came From the Barn, will take place at the Hustler Bar and Pool Room on this Friday night! Come out this Friday (that's July 25th) and enjoy a night of Tarpon Trees from 10:30 PM until 2:00 AM! It should be a great time, so make sure you're there! Don't forget to pick up your very own Tarpon Trees sticker for $1 after you get your copy of the CD!

Well now, a big thanks to Kynda and the whole Orlando crew who came down on Friday! And especially all you brave souls who stayed afterwards to party until the sun came up! It was a great time and we can't wait to have you guys back down here again. In other news, Tarpon Trees is getting a well-deserved break for the next few weeks. The next planned gig isn't until Independance Day, allowing all the guys to go on their respective vacations (lucky bastards!). The studio albums should be available by then, if all goes well. Hopefully, we'll have no more delays--because I just know each and every one of you is dying to own a copy of the completed CD!

The adventure into Orlando was a great success! We'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone from Melbourne and Orlando who came out to the shows at Reilly's and the Orlando Fringe Festival! Despite rain, traffic, and Titusville cops, the whole excursion was a great time. Keep your eyes open, because it won't be long before the band is back in Orlando again. Don't forget, this Friday (May 30th) is another Tarpon Trees show at the Hustler, once again with our Orlando friends--Kynda!

Yes, it was a great night at the Hustler with Kynda this past Friday! A big thanks to all the Orlando crew who came all the way over for the show! And, low and behold, we've already scheduled another night of Kynda and Tarpon Trees for May 30th. All you fools who missed this past show (you know who you are!), you'll have your second chance to catch the groove next month! In other news, we're booked for the Fringe Festival in Orlando on Tuesday, May 20th. Don't miss that one! If all goes well, we'll be playing at Reily's in Orlando some time soon--keep your eyes peeled and your Tarpon Trees homepage bookmarked!

Once more, another wonderful gig at the Hustler has gone by! In an exciting set, Tarpon Trees introduced three new songs to the audience. In other news, keep an eye out for the Garudio Records compilation CD! Tarpon Trees will have two songs on this upcoming release and will play at the CD release party sometime within the next two months!

Tarpon Trees just finished a stretch of studio work. In the twenty hours they spent in the studio, five tracks were laid down. Two of these tracks will be released on the Guardio Records Compilation CD. All the tracks will be placed on a brand new demo CD which should be finished and ready to distribute sometime in January. Contact Tarpon Trees if you'd like to recieve your own copy.

Jungle Bungle was a great success! Thanks to all the people who showed up for it! This may have been the smoothest-running Jungle Bungle yet! No gigs planned for a little while, but we'll let you know when the next one is as soon as we have it all taken care of.

Another wonderful Hustler show gone by! Many thanks to Yahoot Magooty from Orlando for coming out to jam with the band on Friday night. Everybody had a great time. We're looking forward to the next show there! A big thanks to everyone who came out to listen, as well. Don't forget, Jungle Bungle is coming up on November 9th! That's just two weeks away!

The show at the Hustler was awesome! Great turnout!!! We all had a great time. We have a lot of new material for all of you out there, so keep your ears open. We should be hitting the studio in mid-November (fingers crossed!)

Added a few gigs to the Gigs Page. Hope to see EVERYBODY at the Hustler on September 28th. For those 21 and up, the cost is $5 at the door. For those under 21, the door price is $7. It should be a really good time down on beachside!! We may be playing at a Drum Tribe festival out in Holopaw coming up soon, as well. Don't forget that the Jungle Bungle Music Festival is on Saturday, November 9th. Tarpon Trees will be playing there as well!

We have added 2 to our line-up. Jon Adams on Guitar and Gid Berkowitz on keys. Possible dates at the Hustler in late Sept, more info on that when time comes. Web Page got a face lift.

I figured i'd give a little update to our band situation. Joe is transfering to Temple so we lost our rythm guitar player. Lindsey is also transfering to UCF so pictures might become scarce. We are sorry to lose two very good friends, you guys will be missed in these parts. In better news, Jon Adams from Jungle Jam said he'd jam with us so hopefully that will workout well. We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall.

Punch Party was great, we had an awesome time playing for alumni and friends. Thanks to everyone that came out. It's Freak Week so we'll be playing on 4/19. Come out and see some good bands and hangout with cool people.

Well, it looks like we're getting some gigs lined up. As of right now we should be playing Poor Man's Mardi Gras on 2/22/02, Coral Bay on 4/12/02, and the Rites of Spring Festival at FIT in April also. As soon as I get motivated i'll make a gigs page but I just thought i'd let everyone know. I've also gotten a few requests to put more songs up so that should be happening soon.

I'm back at school now so the sooner I teach myself more cool tricks, i'll add them to the website. I posted one song as a test so give it a try but I might take it down until we can get some good recordings to post.
